I don't know about you, but I've heard that you can die from a guitar string. I use to swing 'em around in guitar class all the time... hit someone occasionally. But they never DIED!

No one has ever died from being hit by a guitar string. As some other people mentioned, strangling is a possibility, but you can't kill a person by swinging a guitar string at them.

If you ever meet Ace Frehley , ask him that question. Technically he almost died from a guitar string, - ok he was knocked unconscious , but almost died.

I know of one instance. My neighbor got his throat slit open because he tuned to high on his high e string and it broke and the top inch of string cut right through his throat.
