I have been listening to the new single of My Chemical Romance which is Black Parade. Its very hard to listen to since its way too emo, but what does this song mean? It doesnt seem like a good moral at all.

and the song about Gerard and Mikeys grandmother is "Helena"
secondly, the whole ablum The Black Parade" is a story. each song is like a chapter sort of. "Welcome To The Black Parade" is about how "The Patients" strongest memory is going to a parade with his dad when he was little. and when he dies his death like comes to him in a black parade. and yeah the lyrics sort of speak for themselves after that.

omg thats sooooo funny i was just thinking that b/c i was listening to it!!!!! im so sorry i really cant help you but i know that in the first part his fatehr took him into thw city to join the black parade because his mom died......thats what he talks about in the second part..."well carry on, and though youre dead and gone believe kme, ur memory will carry on," and other things about his mom that died...hoped this helped

well i think it's realllllllllllyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy emo, but it's mostly about demons and maybememories of his childhood or fantasies, or a dream!~

a line of the song is "your memory will carry on"...i think it's about his father and his childhood memories.
