Sounds like it could also be babies growth hormones. Has he gotten any taller? He needs to be seen by a pediatrician. Sometimes with fas there are mental disabilities involved as well. There could be underlying problems. I could not tell you what they would do, but they would probably have some type of proof. They would have to have solid proof other than mere accusations to take that child away.

Yep--that kid certainly looks as if he has FAS. What a shame. If he's only put on 5 pounds since birth he may also be FTT, Failure To Thrive, which could be related to the FAS or could be due to neglect.

He looks ok to me his weight gain is most likely from not eating properly.
