I don't like to wear a bra, so no it's not a bra. But my nipples were sore and have been for the past week. Why? I'm 17 and am not sexually active and don't have a boyfriend and have never had a one night stand. Could it be growing pains?

It sounds more like abrasion; could your nipples possibly be rubbing on your clothing? Also, if you are close to your menstrual period, your nipples may be more sensitive. In addition, if the weather is cold in your area, your nipples can chap just like the rest of your body; since they are made of erectile tissue, which is softer than skin, they can chap very easily. Be sure they are kept properly protected and moisturized in cold and/or dry weather.

well i find that when i don't were a bra my nipples get sore to so just try wareing a cotton sports bra
