I like both spongebob and mickey. however, i am a very hardcore Mickey Mouse fan to death and I must say he is the better of the two. He is an all around American icon, and has been long before Spongebob and many others and he will continue to be when Spongebob has long faded from the picture. Mickey is definitely the better of the two cartoons. As for the comedians, it is definitely Carlos Mencia!!

I hate to even say this, but I think I will side with Spongebob. I personally feel that Mickey mouse is out dated. I think that the absurdity of Spongebob makes it easier to focus on what they are really trying to pass along.
Just a side note
I have noticed that many cartoons are sometimes labeled E/I. Which means the are educational or instructional. I don't know if I always agree with this.
I am proud to say Carlos Mencia. I think he is hilarious. I like him because he addresses isues things that others are afraid to.

Spongebob rocks, he is so funny and he is stupid wich makes it even funnier. Carlos Mencia from mind of mencia is the funniest guy ever!!! i love the way that he makes fun of everybody!!

Mickey Mouse of course...Steamboat willie was the original.....So Id really go with a classic.....Carlos Mencia....He picks on all people and has the nuts to say what he wants and take the repercussions if there are any....

Mickey Mouse,definitely!He is a cultural icon.Disney would not exist today without Mickey Mouse.I doubt SpongeBob will still be remembered as well after 75 years.Theres just no comparison.

Mickey is a classic. Tired and true. Every body from grampa to junior knows who Mickey Mouse is. Ten years from now, no one will know who Spongebob is. Just like all the other cartoons out there, he'll lose popularity and fade away.
