Don't do it. Neither a borrower or loaner be!! Even if it is in writing it will cause hard feelings. A late payment (or no payment) and the borrower takes a vacation or gets a new car etc. If the bank won't loan them the money why should you unless you never expect to get it back anyway. A gift.

Well if the person isn't married then you can goahead taking loan but if the person is married and has a family then I'll suggest to take it from a bank.
Reason why I said this is lets take an example: You take loan from your Uncle and he is married, then your Mami will surely know this. There is a human psycology of pressurizing their spouse, asking for the money after few days.

yes this suffers you a lot.. as if you want to take loan then take it from outside and not from family members. if any case happens that you are not in position to refund loan then it will create problem in your relationship

Do not accept the offer. Anything could happen and it could cause a hardship on the relationship you have with them now.
