This question has been haunting me since 2004. Most people were afraid of an administration change during a war - so they voted for him. I was pretty distraught on the election night and for several days after. I just don't see why we had him elected the first time much less for another term. He is a liar and lives have been lost due to his poor decisions. I think that he will go down in history as one of the worst presidents ever.

He won the first election (2000) because the people had too much of Clinton and wanted a change. Of course 911 occurred less than a year after that election. I believe he won the 2nd time because the people did not feel that the Kerry/Edwards team would keep the country safe from the terrorists.

Because he is the best man for the job. The people of the United States voted him to be president, TWICE. Quit crying about voter fraud or stolen elections you babies, you don't hear us whining about the Nov. 7 results.

Two reasons. First, there were many people who thought that he was an infinitely better choice than Gore of Kerry and, secondly, many thought he would do/has done a helluva job. I am one who fits into both areas.
