yeah ever since the pistons/pacers fight the nba office has been quick to avoid anything like that from ever happening again. kobe's supsension, however, is just about the stupidest thing i've ever heard of. the league is trying to be all high and mighty with throwing suspensions on players like its nothing. (carmelo charged with 15 games, KG got one, and baron davis too!) its like they want to scare players into thinking they wont back down from trying to "clean up the nba's image." what a load of crap! please.... it seems to me like they're ruining the sport of basketball for the players and for the fans.

The Knicks have been out way longer than you have kid. What is a Laker? I could ask you that question. What kinda name is a Pacer?
Do you even know who Patrick Ewing or Nate Archibald is?
And Kobe is Kobe, he thinks he is God for some reason and shouldn't be punished for anything. He thinks that every call should called on the other player.

lakers should have won that game on a foul on manu to end it for going under kobe when he landed
Should not have been a suspension, wasn't even a foul on kobe on the play or any kind of penalty
someone was really trying to watch the tape for something
figures it's agaisnt the SA STERNS at a time the lakers had beaten the spurs in all the previous games and where nipping at their heels

Kobe didn't come close to deserving a fine either.. but in today's game they're so concerned about on court toughness turning into an allout brawl in the arenas (i.e.: Detroit Pistons & Indiana Pacers; New York Knicks & Denver Nuggets) that they are too quick to punish the simple on court battle wounds.

Kobe is the God of Basketball Matt. He's the best PLayer in the League and he is the most hated and disrespected player in the league, even the NBA hates him. They don't want another Jordan, people are afraid to admit that Kobe is at that level..if not better.
NO! Kobe should not have been suspended! That was bull.$hit and New York fans said it, they wanted to see the best player in the league Kobe, but nope! damn Stern and Stu.!

Yes I agree with you. Kobe wasn't even called for the foul in the game. He was just trying to draw the foul. I think the league is gonig over the edge right now on cracking down fighting.

I agree. Accidents happen, and the officials should understand that by now. Someone is bound to get hurt when you have all of these player running all over the place, playing with a lot of intensity.
Not fair...

Are you kidding me? MJ's midrange sport develop into far stronger to Kobe's. MJ's sport did no longer comprise taking many 3's until later in his occupation....He shot 40 3% while he got here decrease back from baseball. even while he avg'd 37 PPG, he tried under one 3 according to sport.. His LOWEST avg develop into .376 while attempting 3 or greater tries according to sport in a season. no longer too undesirable

he should get suspended, casue he always try to fake people just to get to the foul line. This time you can tell he swing his elbow on Manu after the shot. Who ever play basketball alot knows that you never will swing your elbow out after the shot, its so obvious kobe know Manu is next to him too.
