My husband's friends all hate their spouses, we are the only couple of the bunch that seem to get along. They want him to go out partying (not very often) & it worries me that Anything can happen especially if they are all so miserable. Should I be worried or jealous or whatever this is I'm feeling?

That's a tough one. If his friends all hate their wives, they're going to be an influence on him, and may start causing problems in your marriage. On the other hand, telling him you hate his friends and don't want him to see them will push him towards them and make him resent you.
Try talking to him - telling him that you'd love for him to do a guys night out, but the relationships that his friends have with their wives concerns you. See what he has to say, you may be surprised that he finds them to be a negative influence too.
Start building friendships with married couples that are more like you and your husband - the ones that actually like each other!!!

Most men hate being married but that doesn't necessarily mean they hate their wives. They're grown men and you can't stop them from wanting to go out and partying...because they'll find a way to party if you try to get tough about it. Just try to be the best wife you can be so that your hubby won't be in the same class as his classless buddies.

You need to find other strongly married couples to hang out with. Believe me, their attitudes can rub off on your husband. When they complain about their spouses, you can bet they ask him what he has to complain about you.

You do not have to give your husband an ultimatum of never seeing his friends. Just discreetly build up friendships with strong married couples, do alot of things with them as a couple. When your husband goes out again with his friends, he will realize how negative they are and not want to have much to do with them.

Your husband should decline their offer to go out partying with them. He needs to tell them he loves getting along with you and doesn't want to do anything that could cause problems. These other people are trouble makers.

I think that if it's really not that often, just make sure he is well "taken care of" before he goes out. I doubt you have much to worry about if you get along that well compared to all his friends.

Well, I agree he should hang out with different friends. My parents are getting divorced and I'm constantly hearing from my mom, "he did this! I can't stand him! ..." And I'm starting to hate men and take it out on my boyfriend. I'm really trying to get over it though, even if I have to tell my mother to shut it. Talk to your husband and make sure that he knows that you love him and that you will try to keep your relationship as close as possible.

do not crowd him. give him space it is very needed....in all men they need to knwo they can bounce when they need to and ur not gonna flip out. If he is gonna cheat he will do it with his friends or whenever he wants to. I am a firm believer in what u do not knwo will no t hurt u... is it right? NO, but if u occupy ur mind with what if u will go crazy...

if hes cheating u will know, then u can stay or go... its on u.

Sounds like some new friends are called for, maybe couples that like each other? You certainly deserve better.

You should be worried. If he finds another one, then you would be at the back of his mind.
