I'm 17 but one of my friends happens to be 14. Well here's the problem she keeps saying she's gonna have intercourse soon like in a few months. And she keeps saying it's no big deal as long as she uses condoms. But she's too young. She totally understands that when I tell her is because I care. I've tried telling her many times the consequences but that won't stop her. Please dont tell me to stay out her life or to leave her alone. But I can't just let her go out and do it. Can someone please tell me how I can possible stop her? PLEASE!

Hi Sweety, I am a Mum with a daughter who is almost fourteen and who almost made the same mistake also. Because she really wanted one guy to love her so much, a really good friend gave her a book of sexually transmitted diseases and also let me know, which meant I could talk to her, and give her so advice and a bit of reality. I also scared her by making a appointment with doctor about the pill, and talked about abortions. Hope this helps. Thanks heavens my daughter dropped him.

Take her to a clinic to get birth control pills. If she's really going to do it, and not just talk about it, she needs to be treating this issue seriously. The people at the clinic can talk to her about all sorts of horrible things about sex that might open her eyes a little. It's simple reverse psychology. Push her to take the serious steps necessary to keeping her safe if she's going to start having sex. Its an important adult decision. Make her be an adult and she might find that she is in fact, too young. Even if it doesn't work, she might be safer.

I dont think there is alot you can do if she is set on doing it.
You can tell her what boys will think of her & how they will talk about her. But again I doubt you will change her mind on this.
Your a good friend keep trying to talk to her & if she doesnt listen just be there for her afterwards.

Have you thought about talking to her parents? 14 is way too young. She's just a child. And anyone who has sex with her is risking statutory rape charges in most states.

Leave a note for her folks, you don't have to tell them who you are. Just put it in the mail box, when they aren't looking. That way they know what she's doing, they won't be able to tell it's from you and she can't blame you for telling on her. (and keep it to yourself.) She's waaaayyyy too young to have sex..

Nothing. You cannot control another person.

The best thing I can think of is ask her does she understands that having sex leads to pregnancy. Is she really ready to have a child?
