Highlander: The Source is the 5th installment to the "Highlander" film series, with Adrian Paul returning to the role of Duncan MacLeod that he made famous in the television series and continued in the fourth film, Highlander: Endgame. It is currently in post-production. The film will be shown in movie theaters.[citation needed] It is scheduled for release "First Quarter 2007," but while composer George Kallis' website offers a more precise release date of "March 2007" even more recently Davis-Panzer affiliates have listed "February 2007" as the release date beside auctioned memorabilia from "The Source." Actress Thekla Reuten's own official website also lists "February 2007" as the release date.

To All Our Highlander Fans!
A quick note for Bucharest, Romania where we are in pre-production for the Davis-Panzer/Miramax production "Highlander: World Without End." And yes, Adrian Paul, Christopher Lambert, Jim Byrnes and Peter Wingfield will all participate in this dramatic sweeping epic. Additional shooting will take place in Paris, New York and Scotland.
Adrian Paul is to arrive in Bucharest shortly for rehersals and you can expect some spectacular action sequences to emerge from those sessions.
While we can't reveal specifics about the script, we will say that we are exceedingly pleased with the story to be told. Shooting to commence October 18th.
