I know girls get ear piercing even here in saudi but not guys, I also wonder why they pierce other parts of the body, private area for exampl!! Why?

you're talking about private areas ... well ... because it is said to give more pleasure. The idea is that by piercing a nerve, you divide in two, as if you had two nerves at that place, therefore more pleasure. Moreover, as you permanently have a stud/ring in your skin, it is supposed to provide you with extra stimulation
Depending on the persone and where exactly the piercing is done, it can work, or not, or totally annihilate your sensations! :p

For some people it's a cultural thing. Like ear piercing here in the US, body piercing can be a socially significant thing. Tribes in Africa do some pretty outrageous things to their body because it's a social standard.
It's a way to augment and in some cases enhance people's appearance and self-esteem.

First we are human, so we make mistakes. Second if you think piercings are kinda weird( other than ur ear) im with u. I dont get it either. So know ur not alone. Third some people thinks it cool but waht about when ur old? those peircings could look weird. im with u why do we?

Because it is cool and it looks awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!
I plan to get my lip, my bellybutton and my ears pierced again!
And if you are going to judge my intelligence by my appearance, keep in mind that I am an Honors and AP student!

its just part of the look nowadays...
like in africa its part of culture to have a lot of piercings. and these days a lot of people are getting nose rings and belly button rings and eyebrow piercings and other freaky things, wheras half a century ago you wouldn't have seen anything like it.
personally, i think it looks really bad but hey, thats just my opinion-lots of other people think it looks cool.

People do that to look cool. Some people do it because they don't want tattos and they also want to change it so they don't have to get a tatto.

I started with earrings because I thought they were cute. Then it gets addicting. The more you get, the more you want.
