in conjunction with abdominal exercises, you need to lose some weight so that all your efforts don't go unnoticed. do all sorts of crunches: legs falt on floor, legs elevated. hands criss-crossed over upper chest, hands cupped behind head. you'll also need to do side crunches (on both sides) to eliminate any love handles you may have.

To get a 6 pack, you need to build up your ab muscles and lose any fat covering them over.

So general fat loss, more calories burned then in.

For the abs, crunches/situps work, try also laying on your back, then bringing up your legs and your head/shoulders/arms at the same time, that works upper and lower abs. You could maybe hold a dumbbell behind your head for more resistance on crunches too.

You can do alot with a bench press...working shoulders, chest and your total strength will gradually improve!

But for abs it may help as well, and do some situps/crunches 3 days a week.

they wont show if you have any extra? fat. Do the crunches and other ab work. Abs are hard to isolate. You may get bored just doing crunches. Diet if needed. If you meant beer six pack then walking to get it would be best.
