Because it's not up to scientists-it's up to the pundits. Each year they PUNctually gather in PUNsylvania and experiment on PUNch lines from bad jokes. They use a lot of PUNctuation and drink a lot of PUNch. They get PUNch drunk. They end up PUNching each other out, and nothing gets solved.
