i heard that if you put a class ring in a jewlry cleaner, it will mess it up...is that true? what is the correct way to clean it?

Strange, but toothpaste cleans jewelry very well.

It might mess it up depending on what stone it is. Used a soft toothbrush and mild soap and water.

Another alternative is to take it to a jeweler. Most of them will clean your rings for free.

i put my class ring in jewlery cleaner, and it worked for me, it came out looking like new ,just like the first day i got it...and no it doesnt mess up class rings at all..mine came out shining

Use calm dish detergent and an old toothbrush. Scrub in all the little spaces and make sure it rinses well.
