It is very strange that people are happy on such a day when the day has no further significance than the birth of some pathetic animal that has no bearing or purpose except to slowly die like a mangy dog and rot into dust.

Surely they will not celebrate this day when I am stinking in the ground. Why do they do it now?

It's not that I have a problem with it. I just don't understand it. It signifies one more year less of my life. That's one more year towards the rotting.

Because unlike you, they're glad you're ALIVE!

You don't want to celibrate it, then don't.

Tell friends/family you don't want to, and if they try to throw a party or whatever, don't go.

Also, from your post, you should consider getting some professional help.
