If you lone some one somthing and they give it to some one else
and can't get it back can you fial chargs aginst them

Use this as a learning lesson.
1) never loan anything your not willing to use.
2) never loan to someone who you do not trust.

You can take them to small claims court. But to win you need verification that the item is yours and how much you paid for it any witnesses that the other person borrowed it. It in tails alot of proof on your part. If your have a friends that is a cop have him go over and ask for the item back for you.

You can possibly charge them with theft, but you aren't likely to succeed. You're more likely to succeed with a tort for either Conversion or Trespass to Chattels.
