i wanna get them on my bottom lip but i wanna know-
1.how bad it hurts?
2.how long do i have to keep them in so it doenst close up?
3.numbing cream and do they use it?
i need help please respond thankyou

No, don't do it.
just use the magnetic rings, they work great, and they're not permanent.

First of all, any "real" piercer will tell you not to use numbing cream. Half the point of a new piercing is the adrenaline rush.
If you're worried about the pain, perhaps this isn't the best idea. Because your lips have more nerve endings than most other parts of your skin (any pinker/browner skin area is a sign of more nerve endings), so it'll hurt a lot. The pain though isn't the problem--it is the healing. Because it is on your mouth, you'll want to play with it all day and it'll take a lot longer to heal because of that.
As for healing, your mouth heals pretty quickly. After over a year, I took mine hour for less than 2 hours and it closed up. Also, retainers are awful looking and very obvious with lip piercings, so if you need to hide something, this is not the piercing for you.

I bet it would hurt about as much as a tongue piercing...dont have that? ok maybe just a sharp pain for about 10 seconds.
Don't know the answer to 2.
Emla cream is the best numbing cream. Numbs the muscles inside you so you don't feel it as much - usually you need to supply this stuff by your self. Check with your local pharmacy they would be able to recommend a good one or Emla for you.

i don't know ive never tried it and would not recomment it. don't you have better things to do with your time other than mutilate your body?
