the directions say to write an equation of the line that passes through the given point P and has the given slope.

the problem is P(0, -2), m=0
how would i do this?

the slope intercept form to graph a line is y=mx+b. M being the slope and be being the y-intercept (-2) where the line crosses the x axis. plug the slope and y-intercept into the equation, simplify, and you have your answer

If m=0, then the line is horizontal...
So the only line that would pass through P would be y= -2

to graph it: draw a horizontal line on -2 on the y-axis.

ill give you the equation, and all you have to do is plug in the numbers ok?

Y2-Y1/X2-X1=0
then you solve the equation
