Ritchie Valens, who died in an airplane crash along with the Big Booper and Buddy Holly. There was a movie depicting the life and death of Ritchie. It was very sad because he was very young and very talented.

He "discovered" the song LaBamba when he took a trip to Mexico. He wrote the song Donna for his girlfriend.
