obviously you must be genetically superior? pray tell, what wise and sage advice do you have for the world? besides making judgements about people and cultural aspects you're clueless about?

Of course they do. Anyone that feels different, obviously is ignorant to what a so called (redneck) is. You live in a trailer and drive a pickup truck, with your dog, people consider you a redneck. Society has so many people brainwashed about things and the ones who fall for it may be the ones with the undeeming qualities .

I think that we are like everybody else except live a simpler life without all the drama. I am happy to live in a small town where everyone is your neighbor. You wave or say hi to everyone you pass. If you need help everyone is there to pitch in. It's great!!
By the way it's hillbillies that make the moonshine. Not all rednecks live in trailers, some live in pretty nice homes. There is a difference between rednecks and hillbillies!!!

Depends on the redneck.
Beign a redneck doesn't cover all of your personality traits, nd everybody has at least one slightly redeeming quality.

It depends on the redneck, just like it depends on the pothead, emo, goth, nerd, scientist, guy, girl, parent, doctor, lawyer, or indian chief. Jeff Foxworthy is a self-admitted redneck. Do you think he has any worthwhile qualities? Al Capone was supposedly an urbane, sophisticated city dweller. Is he worthwhile? Kurt Cobain thought so little of himself that he committed suicide. Where does he fit in your world?

I guess it depends on what types of people you call rednecks...there are so many different types of country folk, each in their own categories.
But just to make a guess, I'd say sure, they're simple enough that, when they're friendly, they're friendly, and there's nothing sneaky about their character.

I like rednecks, because they're laid back, simple, and don't place a lot of value on social status or monetary possessions. They're kind of like your friendly black lab dog in comparison to a high-strung show poodle. Very likable.

There is a difference between "redneck" & "country"
Country is just rural- homespun type values
Redneck implies a negative-- loud, rude... unsophisticated...
