Why didn't I get my period yet?, I'm 14 already, and all my friends have it, they also have breasts, but I don't I am always the youngest, and the last one. Whenever they talk about woman stuff, I can't be included, I feel so sad, and I feel like I am still a baby.
So, my question is, I am already 14, why didn't I get my period, or why didn't I get breasts, and all my friends do have all that?
Could it be because I am 5"0, and 64 pounds?
I do not have a thyroid disease, and I am not anorexic or bulimic, I eat, but I just don't gain.

Don't worry! I was like this as well. I know that you will be feeling really left out but it will come...(and i am sure when it does you will miss the stage you are in at the mo)
Everyone develops at certain times and it is normal for you not to have yours yet.
If you are still worried you could go to your doctor and get them to do a blood test but i am sure you are fine. just be patient :)

As far as your period is concerned, don't be in a rush to get it. It will come when your body is ready. As for your breasts, some girls, if they are tall and skinny, hardly have any. Then again, some just develop later in life than others. Sorry, there's nothing we can do except wait. Ask your mom how old she was when she got them because it can be a guideline as to when you will get yours. Just try and be patient, you're not the only girl that's going through this.

firstly, if you are 64 pounds at age 14, you need to see a doctor, even if yoy are not anorexic, it is not a healthy weight. Next, it might be your genes, when did the other women in your fdamily get it? It;'s fine erveyone get's it t different times, no nedd to be left out. It always happens differenlty for rach person.

Enjoy being a kid while you still can. Are you really lookin forward to wearing a bra for the rest of your life, getting painful cramps, bloating, constipation, fatigue and bleeding out your ho ho every month? It's pretty painful and messy at times. Don't worry, its true what they say when they say we all mature at different rates. You ll be one of those chicks who went on summer vacation flat as a board only to come back with a bigger rack then the rest.

well i haven't started mine either and i'm 14 and 107 pounds. but you probably are not the proper weight. you have your period when your body knows you can hold a baby and actually have one develop inside you. so just wait for it to happen naturally and dont worry. most people will tell you you're lucky. just take it and accept it. your time will come eventually.

Patience young one! My periods started when I was 11 - my daughter did not start until her 16th birthday. You will develop in your time - late bloomers are just late bloomers. My daughter liked the fact that she didn't have to worry about things too soon - knew that when they start, they don't go away for many many years. Have patience and know that you will bloom into a beautiful flower in your own time!

I started when i was 12, my best friend started when she was 16 or so(sophomore in HS). Everyone is different. All my friends started at different ages. Just be happy you don't have your period yet. You will be having it for many years to come.

Having throid problems may certainly have an effect on this. Please go talk to your Dr. He will be able to put your mind at ease. And once it does start, you'll wish it hadn't!! Everyone just develops in his/her own way. Your not a baby, you just haven't reached your time yet. Good Luck!

I knew someone who didn't start until she was sixteen. Everyone's body is different. Don't rush it. Once it gets here, you'll start counting down the days until menopause. It's not fun.
