There is more than one correct answer to this equation. For example if X=1, you would substitute in the one for x. So the equation would read -2(1) + 3. First you would take -2 times 1, which would be -2 and then add 3, which would be 1. So X=2. You would have to fine out what x equals and than substitute, and carry out the equation. Good luck!

Ok. take the -2x and put it outside the problem for a second. Then take the 3 and break it into two 1 1/2's. Then, take the removed -2x and put it back in, but double it because it is now the numerator, which makes it -4x^2. Put them together and you get 67.
