anyone know any good tricks or tips to studyu biology vocabulary for a test, i have one coming up and need a new study method

If you've not been taught the prefixes, suffixes and root words, probably your best bet is flash cards.

1. Try thinking of creative ways the meaning relates to the word or vice versa.

Example: We had to memorize the first 15 amendments in 4 days. I had trouble with number 13, slavery is bad, until I created a little clue. The #13 is an unlucky and bad number and so is slavery.

2. Write the definitions and words over and over on a peice of paper. Trust me on this. I had to memorize the 10 commandments for Gun Safety in a night. This helps!! Over and over. Break it down first, say do 2 at a time, then those 2 and add on 3.

Memorization for vocab...and little mind tricks...like linking the word to something that reminds of it......It is hard to explain...sorry. Or try flashcards like the first answer suggested.
