When anyone questions 9-11 the answers are the rudest, most insulting of any type of question asked. And rarely are there any answers that actually discuss the subject.

Why does it upset people so much? Do they have a vested interest in it?

I think someone could praise Nazism, and not get the type of response this brings about.

Well, as expected nobody really answered why they get so upset. They just posted more insults at people that have the nerve to question something.,
Which was the point of the question.

Because there is no "story." It is an event that DID happen. There is NO conspiracy. Idiots who deny it or propagate the conspiracy malarkey sully the event and everyone who lost their life that day.

Anyone and everyone who believes that 9-11 was or is part of a government conspiracy is either just plain stupid or is in need of psychiatric analysis. Paranoia is often a symptom of more serious mental illness.

Any ire wackos like yourself draw by clinging to and spreading an asinine conspiracy theory is well deserved. The fact that you and others like you can not understand it is beyond comprehension. Every red-bloded American has a vested interest when our nation is attacked.

Does that clear things up for you?

For some, it hits to close to home I guess. For others, they want their lives like they were prior to 911. They would rather not have to deal with the new realities. Still in all, the facts, photos, testimonies, and money trail left behind, have all been scrutinized with a fine tooth comb and made public. Yet, some people (a small fringe) continue to respond in bizarre ways that range from doubt, to skepticism, to down right projection and false accusations.

If we begin to deny a historical event of this magnitude (especially one so recent, and with this type of positive proof) why should we trust anything that's written in history books? Sometimes we need to accept documented events as historical fact and just move on.........

I don't believe the conspiracy theories if that is what you are getting at with your question. But I do think we need a more in depth investigation into finding out what our government knew and when they knew it; the 911 commission report left far too many questions unanswered.......I also do not like how our current administration has used the tragedy of 911 to promote their extreme right agenda, resulting in America being misled into the war in Iraq.

How dare you bring up 9-11.

Probably because many people believe it was staged by the government so they would have a excuse to invade Iraq.

Other people view it much like Pearl Harbor. A direct attack of American Citizens on American soil.

It is a pretty heated topic. It could also be the people responding.

I think it was a direct attack on American Citizens on American soil. I do however believe that we are killing the wrong people because of it.

People are sensitive when it comes to memories such as 9-11. Since there is so much evil in the world as it is. I think it's commendable to weep for those who died in the accident but going berserk is not helping. What people need is salvation from themselves. I've been through a ot myself and I know it can be hard to move on sometimes but we need to use the past as a stepping stone to the future. People will never learn from these things if they don't open their eyes to the reality of life. The only way to have total peace in times of strife is to repent and turn from your sins and put your faith in God. We need to be lights in these dark times. We can only choose to do our best and leave the rest to God.

Well, I have a question to answer your question with.

What 9-11 story are you talking about? I know there are a few "conspiracy theories" out there that claim the Bush Administration had something to do with it. I don't care for this administration at all, but I do not believe that it had ANYTHING to do with those terrorist attacks.

I think you should have been more detailed with your question.

I am glad to see that it strikes a chord with a lot of people. We need to keep those pictures firmly embedded in our minds. Our lives have never and will never be the same because of that one single incident in history. The vested interest is simply life in this country the way we knew it. Sadly things will always be different in so many ways.

People get upset because the truth hurts.

We lost our brothers and sisters in this attack....Many innocent
people, trying to survive day to day expired and retaliation is in
order. Just like Pearl Harbor......

The U.S. of America is #1 and enemies want to bring it down.
CANNOT BE DONE......

We know who attacked us and we just can't sit back and wait
for more attacks, we must be on the alert at all times.

Ofcourse, I expect to be bood, but I don't care what anyone thinks. See how great out country is we can say what we want
and still be protected. America is the best.....

Because 9-11 was witnessed by everyone! It happened live on TV. That and the conspiracy theories are absurd. Bush did it, Israel, etc. Get real. This isn't the Kennedy assassination or the moon landing. We were hit, by Muslim nuts. Period.
