When your feeling down about yourself??

I wish I knew the answer to that. What I do is either eat everything in sight or don't eat for several hours while everyone else does.

I guess the answer is to do something constructive to make yourself feel better. Address what it is that you don't like about yourself. Is it your looks, like your weight? A bit of exercise can release endorphines to boost your mood and also help you stay/get in shape. It doesn't have to be heavy exercise.

Or do anything you enjoy. Pamper yourself. Hang out with a friend who makes you feel good about yourself. Call your mom. Hug your pet. Call your hubby at work to say hi. Pray.

Get the idea? Turn the bad feelings into something good. In other words, do the opposite of what I normally do.

Thanks for helping me to rethink my usual way of doing things while I was answering your question. I didn't expect that to happen ;)

Get some pump you up music and dance around in your house. Also, take a shower, pick out an outfit that makes you feel good, fix up your hair, etc. and go out looking your best. Even if its to Walmart, getting out and feeling good about yourself helps!

I listen to Gospel music and think of how blessed I am, because there's always someone somewhere worse off than me, and I need to remember to keep my attitude of gratitude.

I go on a double date with Ben and Jerry..... A pint of peanut putter ice cream. I feel much better right after.......yummy!!!
