if someone forgave you for something you did, even you thought was unforgivable and knew was wrong but it happened. Yet that person forgave you and you know that person is a good person that you hurt.
Would you feel embarassed, ashamed , guilty, or not care??
How would you react??

Since he acknowledges what happened: I'd feel guilty..for having hurt him.
Since I acknowledge it, too: I'd feel ashamed of myself...
If other people know of this, too: I'd feel all embarassed, guilty, ashamed of myself, and even stupid for having done it..

Since there's nothing I could do to take that wrong-doing back, I would do the best I could to alleviate the pain or diminish the damage I had caused, by acknowledging my own mistake & apologizing to him & anybody else involved. Don't dwell on it, as it's a normal part of life. Instead, take a lesson from it, & learn to be wiser next time, and learn to avoid getting into situations like that again gracefully & forgive others sincerely.

Of course I would feel guilty and thank full that they were such a good friend to be able to forgive me. Bad things happen between friends. A real friend would see it in their heart to forgive you. Don't continue to beat yourself up. That is life. Accept that they forgave you and move on.

I would still rot inside. For some reason, I can never get over things that I do. I feel embarrassed, ashamed and guilty all at once. Even if they tell me that they forgive me, I can't escape those feelings.

I would feel honored that I was forgiven. The biggest question now is can you forgive yourself. That is the most important. If we can't forgive ourselves then forgiveness of others really has no meaning. Sometimes the hardest thing in life is to forgive ourselves...
Good luck hope this helps.

If it was something that was done on purpose by me, I would feel very guilty.

If it was something misunderstood , I would feel embarrassed.

If it was because of something I didn't care, I would feel ashamed.

I would feel greatful that I have that person in my life, someone that would look beyond what I did and value our relationship more. Tell that person how you're still feeling and maybe that person will make you feel better.
