Fool.com has a section called CAPS. You might be able to get some good ideas about good stocks there. Most on line brokers provide some research material. Fidelity has some of the best.

Yahoo finance is a good place to start.
Check out www.thestreet.com. They have a new stock screener that does a good job of helping you find quality equities based on their ratings company recommendations.
