Health is more important than, having a degree. Although we don't need uneducated people that are healthy. In my opinion Department of Education get enough funding which in turn goes to waste.

It's a simple question of demographics. Western societies are ageing. Furthermore, the baby boomers are entering their golden years.
So there is more demand for health care than education, in the common sense of the word demand. But furthermore, a larger group of the population has a more vested interest in health care than in education, so that in the political sense, there is a demand as well for more health care, while politicians tend to be able to afford to neglect education more. This is partly young people's own fault as well, since as a demographic group, they are one of the least likely to use their right to vote.
