I need something to protect my computer from viruses and pop-ups..what's a good free protection service thingy? Is Norton AntiVirus good? Is it free?

You can get a free 30-day trial of Norton, just go to the site. It was pretty good I guess. Good luck!

I find that avg free version does the job for me with viruses.

Norton sucks I tried it. Go with AVG.

I think Norton is NOT free, but I believe that google has a free version, and I've been VERY impressed with Google stuff.
