Dress professional, like you want a job. The fact that it's a discount store should not have any bearing on you presenting yourself as a person for the job.

Nothing too informal, maybe a shirt and pants, don't know about dresses though, even though I like girls in dresses.

gConservative. Little or no jewelry. A strand of pearls. Hair in a simple style. Nails manicured. No nail polish. A 2 piece suit. Color should be toned down. Brown, black grey or navy. Conservative pumps.
