My sister is one mouth pregnant now but she doesn't want it coz she just broke up with her boy friend and she really up sad about him wt should she do??? she is legal resident and she is 23 now??? how much will the surgery cost to have an abortion????????does she need to get the permission from her parent to do that ???

23 and you really think she'd need parental permission? Sweetie, your sister really needs to go to a crisis pregnancy center for some real answers. http://www.cpclink.com Abortion (unfortunately) is legal in ALL 50 states. She really needs to consider ALL of her options because she very likely will regret it later. There's a lot more to it than becoming "unpregnant". The risk of her attempting suicide or other self-destructive behavior triples in the 2 years following and MOST WOMEN end up pregnant again. PLEASE, PLEASE get all of the facts.

Its legal in Cal, at 23 she would not have to get anybodys permission, she wouldnt even need permission if she were under 18. I don't know how much it would cost. Planned Parenthood would be a good place to ask. If there's any way she could see her way clear to having the baby and putting it up for adoption that would be nice actually, a lot of people would love to adopt a baby. But its entirely up to her.

It's legal. Its pretty expresive, but some places may do it at lower cost. Talk to a planned parenthood. She is not a minor so she doesn't need permission, but please, don't let her do this lightly. It may have emotional effects on her that she is not forseeing, and most abortions are a waste if the pregnancy is viable, because there is a family out there longing for a baby that they can't have. At least talk to her about adoption.
