Wow~ lets look at it this way..

Some women start to cook and clean for someone new and sometimes they give up the gym, nails, and shopping because they are having to take care for others.

Now if you feel they let themselves go and none of the above aply it might be postpardum marrieage...its very hard to be single and then married. (first timers that is)..

But if you are talking about someone who flat out total 360 after you got married well then call them on it.. Good luck

Well, I guess a lot of them do because they've gotten someone so now they don't have to try as hard. However, not only the fact that not all women are that way, have you seen most men over 30 these days, or especially 40+?

Us men also have it easier than women; for some reason it's not as important that the man stay in slender shape, he can get overweight and still be considered 'manly', but women, to be considered 'shapely' have to keep the weight off. It's good being a man.

he he...sorry but this question cracks me up because men do the exact same thing. I know so many happily married guys with great big fat stomachs and the most lazy attitude to life.

But if you really feel like this is the case for women, why not encourage that woman to exercise with you? Make time for her to be active and healthy. Perhaps she is too busy working to pay for a newly aquired mortgage or feeling like she should be at home cooking, washing and cleaning. And if you add children to that picture, women don't have any time left in the day.

Yeah. Right. I love those old Special K cereal commercials where the guys are sitting around in a bar complaining about their weight and having to just face the fact that they have their mother's thighs!
Men kill me with this. They can be bald with a crossover piece, overweight, swaybacked, bucktoothed, bifocaled, delirious and dumb, and impotent, but still think THEY are attractive!
What have you done lately to make it worth the effort? What's for dinner? and Pass the remote, doesn't qualify as conversation. LOL!
Try a little tenderness.

So do a lot of Men....see the guts hanging over, unshaven, unbathed even.

Talk to her, get off the couch help her with the babies, children,
the house, then get her interested together to go for walks
or the gym, swimming...anything.

Some do, some don't. If they do it could be because they have got their man, and feel that they don't have to worry about weight. Another reason could be depression or unhappiness, the marriage isn't what they thought it was. There are many more reasons, but I feel that those are the main two.

Most men I know have done the very same thing and they don't even have the excuse that they've given life to several children for their selfish, jackass spouse!

Why do men let themselves go after they get married? The term is Ladies not the B word.

That is a really good question and I have often wondered that myself. Although not only women, men also let themselves go after marriage.
I guess it really is kind of an entrapment wouldn't you agree?

Why do men sit around in their jogging pants, worn out t-shirt, greasy hair, and beer gut hanging out? It's NOT ONLY women! Men are just as bad, or worse!
