Men need to start their day off with protein to keep them going through the day. Their bodies work very different from a woman's. Women don't NEED protein until the afternoon.
A perfect breakfast for a man would be 1 or 2 eggs, (minus yolk if you have a cholesterol problem), 1/2 regular bagel, light butter is fine, men also need certain fats (don't waste the calories on margarine, doesn't taste as good and no nutritional value), 6 oz glass of milk or a yogurt and a serving of fruit. Enjoy.

Egg White veggie omelette. Add some broccoli, bell peppers, tomatoes, mushrooms, and cheese and even potatoes.
Serve this with a side of wheat or rye toast or cottage cheese or my favorite fresh cut fruits and a glass of orange juice.

This covers your veggie servings, protein, calcium, fruits and carbs.

Something low GI. Cereal ie Muesli or Weet Bix, followed by a piece of grain bread with condiment or fruit muesli bread. Or if you have time toasted ham, tomato, cheese on grain bread/muffin or similar. Followed by piece of fruit or bag of roasted chick peas on the way.

Try a granola bar and a piece of fruit.

The granola bar is car-worthy, and the piece of fruit is easy to eat at your desk or during a morning break.
