I usually have very nice looking lips. Around winter time, they start to get more chapped (i know that is common) but, when i use chap-stick, it doesnt really help. My lips arn't seriously chapped, just a little bit "flacky". I only use chap-stick in moderation (so my lips don't become deppendant on it for moisture) I've tried different brands, but they never really get soft.

Just as a side note, I've never had cold-sores or anything like that, just simply chapped lips. Also, my skin is in very good condition, (not dry or oily) So, any tips for how to fix chapped-lips?

I find mary kay's night emollient cream to help alot. Also, just upping your water intake can help since you do dehydrate faster in the winter time due to low humidity levels.

I've also used a lip mask in the winter which basically exfoliates the dry stuff off.

Hope that helps

Try putting a little bit of vaseline on them. Honestly, it works. When I have problems with my lips I put it on right before I go to bed. It solves the problem very quickly. You can also just use vaseline on top of lipstick instead of lip gloss. Works just as well if not better.

I use vaseline pure petroleum jelly 3 times a day on mine. Put on right before bed so that it has all night to work. I've found that it's the only thing that works on mine in the wintertime.
