ok, i know this is a stupid question, but i need to know if "rippling" is 2 or 3 syllables. some people say it as 2, and others say it as 3. so i really need to know. it's for a haiku. (japanese poem)

It depends on the use and meaning of the word, but the common meaning (as in the rippling of the water) has two syllables. I hope this helps.

trust me its 2 beacause i know im a teacher ok so you should trust me i know this because rippling has 2 of the same letters in aeiou ok and it has 2 i's and if you stop at 1 i then stop at the next one then you have 2 look her's the trick rip ling thats is how you stop you stop from 1 syylible to another one ok

Merriam-Webster says it's two syllables.
