It has to be. The problems are still bad and getting worse!
We have the highest infant mortality in the industrialized world.
ERs are still overrun because preventative care is priced out of most people's reach!
We were promised a solution by the Republicans in the 1990's when they first demonized Hillary and killed UHC! No solution was forthcoming and we still have a system where HMO executive salaries are more important than people getting affordable Heath Care!
Campaigns are rarely decided on issues, they are sad extravaganzas where non-issues purposefully drown out discussion of the important things things that affect our lives.
I hope the Iraq War AND Health Care are discussed in depth during this campaign. It would be nice for a change!

It's embarassing that at least 35 million people, in a country that labels itself the greatest country in the world and says there's no other country like it , have no health insurance and are in the bottom of the countries with little or no paid parental leave. Sad.

Take U.H.C. and stick it where the sun don't shine. It doesn't work, it won't work. Every program the government has ever tried has failed. That true for any country. You hear the debate going on about S.S., would you like our kids to be discussing how to fund that and U.H.C. in 50 years?! You should be skeptical for no other reason a liberal wacko suggested it!

I don't want to sound like a cynic, but do you really want the same bureaucracy that "simplified" our tax code, bought $300 ash trays, ran the CETA program into the ground, "secures" our borders and has doubled individual entitlements in the last 30 years - IN CHARGE OF YOUR HEALTH ????

Homeowners insurance and health care
will probably come in right behind the
Iraqi war issue.

With the debt the US is in....how could we possibly
afford health-care for everyone? Let everyone choose
the kind they want (like we do now). If you don't like the
way things are being governed now, I'm sure you won't
want big government running your health care choices.
