There are many fears out there, all of which with different names. Such as the fear of spiders that is Arachnophobia, or Xeneophobia, which is the fear of anything foreign, ( I actually only just learned about that one...)
But, I have a fear of the Louisiana Purchase, what is this called?
( In case you're wondering, I just have nightmares about it and such...I don't know exactly why....)

Since you have a unique fear, you can choose the name for yourself. Might I suggest Louis Phobia? (I used to know a guy named Luis who drove me up the wall!! (If you believe that, you don't know me which you don't I believe!!)

I just have to add Purchase Para Nooiiiii Ya...

what the.... its simple its called "irrational fear" There are technically numerous fears that falle in this category, like fear of a toilet seat falling on your head, because you just gone done watching the first episode of Dead Like Me, or fear that your nose will spontaneously combust. Some people believe that the nightmares like yours are direct link to a previous life, that is if you have had the dream prior to learning anything about the Louisiana Purchase. Your fear is irrational. The nightmare is not. But you put the two together you get one real f'd up dream. Secondly dreams do not necessarily go hand in hand with the symbols. The symbols are your subconcious guide. The feeling you feel is another part. In this case it isn't the Loisiana Purchase you fear, but your mind is using that as a symbol to replace something you already fear that may have an odd sort of connection to the subject of history. However, maybe its history class itself you fear, and you've been studying alot on the Lousiana purchase, and you fear failing in history class. Then again, maybe you just made this up, to see what people would say. But if in truth you do dream this nightmare, you can't actually be afraid of the Lousiana Purchase, because its not something you directly experienced, nor could you ever. But you could be associating it somehow to one or more of your current fears. I occasionally interpret dreams at no charge. You are welcome to email me if you wish for further dream interpretations.

Wow...
Might be related to Orthophobia- fear of property and Francophobia- Fear of France or French culture. (Gallophobia, Galiophobia).
But there's also Virginitiphobia (fear of rape, if you consider colonialism a rape of people and land) or Cleptophobia (fear of stealing)
And possibly chrometophobia or Chrematophobia (fear of money)

So that would be
Ortho franco virginiti clepto chrometo phobia

(yahoo made me separate the word out like that...if I typed it altogether properly, it truncated the word! Phobia censorship! Hmm, what's the fear of long phobia names?)
