I will do bamboos, they just grow easily, no need for light, just water once in a while and they look nice in a vase.

Hi:

There are some varieties of plants that grow without light, but you probably won't want one - mushrooms generally can grow. Your best bet is to get some grow lights that have the spectrum of light sufficient for growing a plant or two. Hope this helps.

If you set any plant that you get under a florescent light it will grow just fine.
