I have been having pains off and on for about a month and I think they could be braxton hicks but I am not sure. the pain goes to my back and in my stomach and it starts hurting really bad for afew seconds to a minute then goes away for a few minutes then comes back. And I figured maybe I just need to use the restroom but it doesn't seem like I need to go. But when I get the pains it also makes me feel like I am going to throw up cause it would hurt so bad. The only thing is after a couple hours it goes away. But I notice its been starting to get more freguent lately. I don't know if its because I am 30 weeks. Does anyone have any advice for me?

If they come and go and are very irregular then they are most likely braxton hicks, but if you get more than 4 in 1 hour or they can be timed like 10 minutes apart or something then you need to call your doctor.

you might have a thing called an Irritated Uterus. Not many women get it, unlike myself i got it. its like your going thru the real thing, you get them painfully and often as if you would if it was the real thing, but really its not. some poeple get it if they have recentely been sick or just their uterus is stressed out and is contracting. nothing to worry about, if you think its worse and you might be going into labor, call you doctor right away. im saying it could be an irritated uterus because usually braxton hicks arent as bad. and are in the upper belly region. but like braxton hicks its getting you ready for the real thing, its just hurts a lot more and you get them a lot more frequently

braxton hicks are usually at the top of your belly and don't usually hurt. what you are describing sounds like true contractions. if they are getting more frequent you should go to the labor and delivery ward at the hospital and have them monitor you. you could be going into early labor. i did and they had to stop me.

I think it is Braxton Hicks... ask your doctor at your next appt. but I'm sure everything is fine.

how far along are you?...if your like 38 to 40 week..then they are probably real contractions..but if you not that far..then they could be...but if they hurt real bad..you should go to your doctors and get checked out...better be safe then sorry.
