Most calculators have a pi key, this would give you pi to a much better approximation than 3.14.

If you have a TI graphing calculator, you can press the 2nd key and then the Pi symbol on the calculator to get a more exact number of pi

If your calculator is programmable you can set one of the keys to accept a number then automatically multiply it by PI and show you the answer. This would involve the fewest keystrokes

multiply by 22 and the answert divide by 7..i.e..22/7
you should be able to get the circumference
