Some guys put up some Aqua Teen Hunger Force (Cartoon Network) electronic blinky-light things around Boston and the officials there freaked out and thought they were terrorist weapons or something. The "guerrilla advertising" guys got arrested and the city spent a ton of money "investigating" a clever ad scheme. It's on the news if you wanna look it up. Isn't this crazy? Why would they freak out so much over lighted cartoon characters? Is Boston just completely nuts or what?

I laughed my ase off over this. People are outraged that someone would be so inconsiderate after 9-11 to pull a trick like that... but i have to tell you its been the most interesting thing in the news lately. Boston is pretty lame, for the most part. I know I've been. But I think this reflects poorly on our whole country... What sort of idiots would take offense? Let them cry... I will be protesting any action taken against ATHF... they rock... and should continue to do so.

Actually, it's strange on how the officials interpret these 'packages' as suspicious, it's even stranger on how Cartoon Network ever give the go ahead for this without telling the authority plus stay silent long enough to have their stuff reported worldwide as 'suspicious'.

I don't believe this a paranoia action or even a case of mistaken identity, it looked like a planned action.

Nevertheless, this is definetly a terrorist act.
