MJ was great - 6 rings. But Russell almost doubled that with 11, making him the greatest...

I'm pretty sure he was, and he was WITHOUT A DOUBT the best non-big man. Bill Russel has to be the closest competition, and is the only player with more championships, but he was simply not the individual performer Jordan was.

Michael was always the top scorer and always clutch, not only 6-0 in the Finals but was MVP of every one. Had he not done the baseball nonsense, he would have almost surely had 8 rings instead of 6 (The Rockets of 94 and 95 werent that good).

Bottom Line, Jordan is the greatest ever.

First let me say I hate Michael Jordan.

Now let me say he is without a doubt the best player to ever player basketball. Bird had a awesome team, Magic had a awesome team. yes Jordan had a very very good team but you look at how often his teammates changed over the years, yet one thing that was always true was, if it was a close game, he wasnt losing.

He put the fear in people more than anyone. The thing with Wilt, Kareem, Russell was, you knew if they beat you it was due to them just being bigger than you, with Jordan, he beat you cause he was just flat out better.

Bird had, McHale, Parrish, Ainge, Walton & ect.

Magic had Kareem, Worthy, Scott, and the rest of the showtime group

Jordan had Pippen and not much more. Sure he had solid players but not all-stars.

When Jordan played, he played to beat you. And he did. He is truly the greastest of all-time, he was something more than any stat will ever show. 6 titles in 8 years, could've probably been 8 titles in 8 years.

I was a Barkley fan and when he beat the Suns in 92-23 for the title, I hated the man, just pure hate, but now with age, I respect everything about his game

Jordan grew to become into the reason NBA in 90s grew to alter into so common, absolute to me he's the final, yet ofcourse he has his flaws its additionally risk-free to assert Jordan tried harder than anybody ever, he grew to become into hustling a hundred% of the time, he had to be the final in each little thing, he in no way gave up on any performs and plus he's enterprise techniques he grew to alter into between the main recognizable icons interior the worldwide

I do not.
The greatest player ever to step on NBA hardwood was none other that the Big "O". Oscar Robertson. The only man to average a triple-double for an entire NBA season and came close to doing it 4 other times in his career.
