They are conflated all the time, don't worry about it! "Tikki Tikki Tembo" by Arlene Mosel is the tale of the Chinese boy who has the incredibly long name, but when he falls into the well, his younger brother encounters difficulty summoning help. "Rikki Tikki Tavi" is the Rudyard Kipling tale from "The Jungle Book" of the mongoose who kills the cobras. It was made into a popular cartoon in the 1970s by Chuck Jones. I bought a copy of it just last year. It was also made into a picture book using stills from the cartoon.

Are you sure it's not Rikki Tikki Tavi? My daughter has the book, and the movie, and I believe we got the book at Books a Million.

Rikki Tikki Tavi.. one in the series of Rudyard Kipplings Junglebook series.. You can find it anywhere if you look up kipling or Jungel book.. Or public librararies as long as they last (they are on thier way out) Amazon will have em..

i remember rikki tikki tumble !! oh i think you can find it at barns and nobles or like borders or on amazon .com
