Nope. Don't worry.

It takes a long time to feel the baby move during your first pregnancy. Chances are that you're already feeling him or her, but you don't recognize those feelings as "baby movements" yet.

In later pregnancies, you'll feel the baby earlier and earlier. And pretty soon, the baby will have her foot wedged into your ribs, or he'll have the hiccups when you're trying to sleep, and you'll wish that you couldn't feel him anymore!!

You should have a 20 week anatomy scan soon, which will show you that everything is just fine. Good luck!

You shouldn't be worried. The normal time frame to feel your baby move during your first pregnancy is 18-24 weeks. It may be after the 20th week especially if you are overweight. Try drinking a glass of juice or having a snack, then lay on your belly. Pretty soon, you'll be begging your baby to stop kicking you!

May be the baby is small or you aren't familiar with the baby's movement. You should check with your Ob/Gyn Doc and take ultrasound pictures. He/she will be able to tell whether your baby moves or not. Sometimes, the baby is small and not strong enough for you to know its movements. but the bigger the baby is, the stronger you will feel. I am now 30 weeks and my baby moves very strongly. when i was about 25-26 weeks, my baby didn't move much and so i was worried and went to the doc but the doctor said he can see some current activities. So, if you feel worried, check with your doc. One more thing is that if you are too tired or working hard, the baby is also tired and can't move much. anyway, good luck.

i wouldn't worry about it yet. i'm 26 weeks pregnant now and this is my first pregnancy too. And i've been able to feel the baby kick for about 3-4 weeks now. so don't get too worried that you can't feel the baby kick yet. i couldn't feel the baby kick or move when i was 19 weeks either.

I have read you WONT feel the baby during your first pregnancy till AFTER 20-22 WEEKS. You MAY have felt something already and passed it off as a "flutter feeling" but it MAY Have been your precious baby moving!
Congrat's!

I didn't feel my son move until 20 weeks some women don't feel movement until 22 weeks. If you don't feel any movement within a few weeks then talk to your doctor.
