Cellulose is the non-digestible substance that makes up the cell walls in plants. I do believe that is the chief component in dietary fiber.

Fibre is cellulose... this is the main structural component of plant cell walls.

It is made of beta-glucose chains. (amylose [which is starch] is made from alpha-glucose chains)
