The problem is that Bush the President is the exact same as Bush the corporate chief executive, that is, surrounded by Yes men and not anyone willing to tell him what he needs to hear, not just what he wants to hear.

Governor of Texas is pretty much a ceremonial job, but he did manage to cause a huge amount of damage.

No, He's the same George W. that was Governor
of Texas. Let's hope he doesn't run for anything
else. It's time for the old geezer to retire (on our
money.)

Yes, he's more dangerous as president. As governor of Texas, he could only laugh when people were put to death, now he's capable of sending people to their deaths due to his own arrogance.

As far as attacks on our soil...did you forget about Anthrax? And why attack us here when our soldiers are sitting ducks?

I think he's the same guy, but with huge enormous problems
that fell on him (the worst ever hurricane, the worst ever
bombing resulting in 3000 deaths in N.Y. by non-americans).
He did not have to answer to any such challenges when he
was governor. Frankly, I wish he had stopped at the point
that he issued "mission accomplished". That would have been
great. And, he might still be popular. Other things he has
accomplished have been great. (eg: economy, homeland
security etc).

Yes. It is like he was kidnapped by neo-cons and brainwashed by them. He used to appear as a real conservative. He is no where close to a real conservative anymore.

Sad.
