I believe in the Oscar Ego Curse.
Sometimes a celebrity wins an Oscar and their head gets so big that no one wants to work with them.
Basically, they start believing their own curse.

The curse is better known to work on women who win best actress.
I don't believe there is a curse. I just believe some actors choose the wrong movies.

Yes, it does seem to work in most cases. The actors get typecast sometimes.
