Most electrical power company bill on a monthly basis. So if you got your last bill on the 10th of the month, the next bill will arrive on or about the 10th again.

In some communities, they use radio-based meters, so their truck only has to go UP THE ROAD to get the meter readings. Others use a type of meter that can tranmit the usage throught the voltage tranmission lines, so they can read your meter from a central office. They usually try to GRAB the readings from your meter a day or so before sending you the BILL.

Good luck and Happy Computing!

My electric company uses the radio meters and usually reads my meter sometime between the 6th and 8th of each month. I receive the bill approximately one week later (13th - 15th). And the payment is due a week after that.
