My mom used to live there, I got her the apartment. They are government subsidized apartments & it took me 4 months to get her qualified & approved.
She passed away about 4 years ago. But while she was living there, Batavia Apartments was a good place for her. She was a senior on very limited income & also ill, but did not want to live out her last few years in a nursing home.
Good location.
Clean
Some, but not a lot of 'rif-raf' living there.
The screening process & application process is a little time consuming & the guidelines & rules for living there may not suit everbody. But all in all if you can get in I think it's generally a good place.
